The Chapel of St. Roco in Kumrovec was first mentioned in 1686. Today, from the old chapel what remains are only excavated and restored foundations on the hill above Villa "Kumrovec", because the Baroque chapel was demolished in 1962. so it would not be in the way of the view of people coming to visit the birth house of Tito. In its place state authorities have built a new chapel of the same name, on different location.
