About the project:

Municipality of Bistrica ob Sotli, Bistrica ob Sotli Elementary School and Youth Organization Bistrica ob Sotli will in association with the Municipality of Kumrovec, Kumrovec Elementary School and Youth Organization Kumrovec have fostered formal and informal learning through the project “Heritage in a modern way”. We introduced the heritage of both regions to our youngest. We also observed examples of good practise between the regions and shared them. There had a lot of exchanges among teachers and those who are in any way associated with formal and informal learning of young people. Everything that we achieved through the project has been directly or indirectly introduced into the national curriculum of primary schools in both countries. We also issued a lot of written materials – guides (translations, copyright design and printing). But to achieve that the knowledge of the heritage would really be brought closer to young people, we have developed this mobile application.
